Todd Smith

Todd Smith is the Founder and CEO of QoreAI and the author of *The Intelligent Dealership: How AI and Data Transform Automotive Retail*. His entire career has been spent inside auto retail—as a salesperson, finance manager, general manager, and dealer principal across new-car franchise stores—giving him an operator's perspective on where technology helps and where it gets in the way.

That operating background shapes his central thesis: AI only creates value when a dealership's data and workflows are reliable. At QoreAI, Todd is building what he describes as the industry's first AI-powered system of intelligence, turning fragmented dealership data into actionable insight across sales, marketing, and operations. His platform, QoreCloud, is designed for modern retail auto groups that want to put AI to work in everyday decisions rather than treat it as a novelty.

Before QoreAI, Todd founded ActivEngage and scaled it into the largest managed chat provider in automotive, earning recognition that included five consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 and a spot on the Red Herring Top 100\. He continues to advise and invest in emerging automotive technology as Managing Director of Kyzor.
