Steven Bragg

Steven Bragg is a Partner at Pitcher Partners in Sydney and leads the firm's Motor Industry Services practice, advising retail dealers, OEMs, distributors and suppliers across audit, tax, mergers and acquisitions, board and executive strategy, consulting, and one-on-one mentoring.

A motor industry specialist with more than 20 years of local and international experience, Steven joined Pitcher Partners in 2021 after four years as industry lead for KPMG's Motor Industry Services team in Sydney. Before that he was Head of Finance for IVECO and Head of Retail Operations for Australia and New Zealand at CNH Industrial, where he turned around the performance of five factory-owned dealerships in 15 months. His earlier career includes motor industry advisory roles with Horwath and Deloitte Motor Industry Services in Australia and with Crowe's motor industry division in Columbus, Ohio.

Steven works to understand a dealer group's long-term objectives, then delivers tailored solutions that help them protect their competitive advantage, pursue growth, and prepare for a potential exit. As he puts it, auto retail operations are more than just the dealerships: they carry family interests, property interests, and are a product of passion, grit and hard work. He holds a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.
